Lillian "Lil" (Froboese) Metzger (1967) is married to Larry W. Metzger from Fredericksburg, TX. She has one son, Timothy "Tim" who married Laurie Landry in 2005. Lil has two step sons. Lil graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State) in 1971. She and Larry live in the Garden Ridge area on five acres where they built a home over 20 years ago.
Lil is actively employed as a sales rep for a Canadian firm called Samuel, Son & Company selling metal. She also has her own real estate company (LTL Realty) and loves working with sellers and buyers.
Lil is actively involved with her church at Grace Memorial in New Braunfels, currently serving as a board member.
Family is of utmost importance. She is grateful that her parents and siblings are all still in the area. Her mother in law has been living with them for nearly 6 years and finds this to be a blessing.
Lil loves to read, garden and travel. She and her husband have been on numerous cruises (Alaska and Panama Canal their favoirtes), have travelled to Germany, crossed Canada by way of train (a favorite worth repeating) and been to the Holy Land. She is planning a trip to China in June, 2008, along with her dearest friend and husband and their two Chinese daughters, to visit where they were born.
Lil is regreting that she will not be able to attend this year's reunion especially since it is a landmark 40th. This will be the first one she will miss.
