Malford Ackermann
Wife: Rosemarie (Orth) Ackermann - Class of 1949

Married over 55 years with five children all graduating from SCUC ISD. Have been involved with farming/ranching plus I was the County Commissioner in Guadalupe County for 8 years. Except for Commissioner, we’ve worked as a team and are still ranching.

Ruby Mae (Bolton) Jones
Husband: Deceased

Graduated from UT in Austin in 1950 with a BBA degree. Taught school – retired in 1987. Been a widow for 10 years and have 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Have done my family’s genealogy – back 15 generations on some ancestors. Have traveled extensively in the USA and overseas (9 countries in Europe, along with England, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Israel, Egypt & Nile River, Morocco, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Mexico.

Gladys ( Rux) Kappmeyer
Husband: Oscar Kappmeyer

Got married to Oscar Kappmeyer March 2, 1947. He worked for an oil company after he returned from the services. Have one son, Larry, daughter-in-law, Penni and 3 grandchildren, Paige, 16, Clarke, 13 and Ross, 11. We now reside in Refugio, Texas


Vernell Ludwig

After graduation I worked as a typist at RAFB. After that I worked in the accounting department of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in San Antonio, TX. Got married in 1949. Traveled throughout the United States including Hawaii. I have two children and two grandchildren.


David J. Semlinger
Wife: Bobbie L. Semlinger

Spent 6 ½ years in the U.S. Navy. Worked for Lone Star Brewing Company for 46 years. Retired in 1993 and moved to San Angelo, TX.
